DENT CRAFTS CENTRE

Tea Room Enjoy morning coffee, light lunch or afternoon tea, outside in the garden absorbing the beauty of the Dale, or inside by the fire in a delightful room adorned with tools of yesteryear.

Home-baked cakes and cookies, teas and fresh ground coffee are a popular treat. Filled baps and homemade wholesome soups satisfy the hearty appetite. Then there is the delicious ice cream, made in the Dales of course.

From breakfast to evening meals we try to provide a warm friendly welcoming atmosphere, good food, and a fairly varied choice to cover all tastes and requirements.

Our freshly cooked breakfasts start the day off well for campers, walkers and day visitors alike - and it has been known to have an orderly queue forming as early as 8 in the morning with campers and caravanners eager to start their day the lazy way, strolling around the corner from the excellent camping site at High Laning Farm.

MEADOWSIDE CAFE-BAR

Meadowside’s building on The Laning has had many uses over the past century, first a chapel showing as early as 1852 on the historical maps, then garage and storage area in the early part of this century, with living accommodation being added in the latter half of this century, which has all resulted in the present day Meadowside Cafe, with its wonderful and ever changing view of Rise Hill and the countryside at the rear of the cafe.

Stone Close is a 17th Century listed building, which was once two separate cottages. It has flagstone floor, cast iron ranges (with fires lit in cold weather) exposed beams and original fittings.

The Tea Room is famed for its delicious home baking and good, wholesome food, which is freshly cooked on the premises, using local, seasonal and organic produce as far as possible.

In addition, you can always be sure of a vegetarian, dairy free, vegan and gluten free option on the menu - and any other special dietary requirement can be catered for — just let us know.
